This Official Major League Baseball was used during the June 27, 2010 ESPN nationally televised game between the New York Yankees and the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium. Clayton Kershaw was the starting pitcher for the Dodgers and this ball was pitched to All-Star infielder, Robinson Cano.
The ball shows game use and has the normal "game rub" to it.
In the top of the 2nd inning in a scoreless game Robinson Cano led off for the Yankees vs. Dodgers' Clayton Kershaw. With the count 0-1, Kershaw threw a curve ball that Cano fouled back to the screen. The ball was taken out of play and a MLB Authentic sticker was affixed to the ball (LH 955922).
This ball was obtained directly from the Los Angeles Dodgers. A letter of authenticity from California Sports Investments as well as a printout of the MLB Authentication will accompany this baseball. The ball will ship in a protective, displayable ball cube.
